Hi, I have an open case with Logitech on this issue but figure I post it here as well in case any others might have input on this issue.
Here was my message to tech support.......
Is there a beta or a newer release of the platinum software for wilife. There appears to be a bug in which the wilife software will not always find my camera and powerline adapter. I thought it was the powerline adapter or maybe even my computer. My main computer is running Windows Vista. However, I installed Vmware with a Windows XP guest on this same computer and installed the wilife software inside. Under XP, I have no issues and each time I run the find my camera wizard, it detects everything just fine. But when I run this same find my camera wizard under Vista, it does not work.
Based on my tests above, I can safely rule out the wilife equipment or the Computer. The difference is only the Vista/XP software. By the way, i am running 32bit version of Vista which your software does support. My Computer is a newer Dell Precision 3400.
Thanks
David
