Hello bearbuck,
Cat is finished for today so I will now be looking after this thread for the rest of the day. You can switch from direct to relay in the online viewer itself. When you're viewing the cameras, there is a select list on the right side that you can switch this with. As well, when looking at the list of sites, there are two icons... one with a long double ended arrow, and one with two shorter double ended arrows. The former is direct mode, the latter is relay.
Please let me know if you get any more trouble with online viewing.
If this answer help resolve your issue please 'give kudos' and/or 'accept as solution' so that others can benefit from this information.

Here are the instructions are for setting up Direct Mode though it is not officially supported as there are so many veriable, but we will help you as best as we can.
***** Summary *****
Tutorial: Remote Viewing on Direct Mode with Digital Video Security Cameras
***** Question *****
This article explains how to connect to Remote Viewing with Logitech Video Security Cameras while using Direct Mode.
***** Answer *****
Windows Vista
Windows XP
Your software will connect to the Internet to provide Remote Viewing access to your video. Two common communication protocols are used; UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) on UDP port 1900 and HTTP (on a variety of ports).
If video is using Relay Mode, it is because your firewall or other Internet influences are preventing the access to direct viewing of your video.
Advanced users who would like to use Direct Mode, can enable UPnP on your router. If you cannot enable UPnP, you can manually map ports in your router or firewall to your Command Center's host PC's IP address. Command Center uses ports 20570 to 20572 (TCP).
See your firewall or router documentation for complete instructions about manually configuring ports also referred to as port forwarding.
Steps to getting set up in Direct Mode:
- Enable UPnP on your firewall or router if possible or map ports 20570 to 20572 (TCP) to your computer's IP address.
- Restart Command Center after you make changes to your firewall or router.
- The next time you use Remote Viewing, you should see video in Direct Mode unless video is being blocked elsewhere on the Internet. Many corporate firewalls do not allow video streaming.
- Refer to your firewall or router's documentation or web site for details about how to configure UPnP or map ports.
- Note that many routers need to be power cycled after ports have been opened.
If you make these changes I can take a look at your account, but you would need to private message me your wilife account as I do not want you to post it on here.

CatLogitech wrote:I was just updated that our engineers said the issue has been fixed.
If you can say, why do you think remote viewing has been going down every couple weeks recently?
It was really stable until a few months ago then started going down once a month then recently every
few weeks.

Hello rkkeller,
I cannot say specifically why some people have had trouble logging into the online viewing or viewing the cameras, but our engineers have been looking into why some people have not been able to upload videos to our online storage.

Thanks I was just wondering.
I stopped using CC a few months back due to a lot of online problems but recently BlueIris updated to an all new rewritten version 3 that you have to purchase again. I did pay again but its not super reiable with wilife cameras, or atleast mine, so I am bouncing back and forth between BI3 and CC. BI3 still has a lot of nice features but some of my cameras keep going black and reset 5-10 times a day and sometimes they won't come back until I restart it.
