Re: wilife.com outage status thread

It's a remote access program and is free as long as it's not used for commercial purposes. Go to TeamViewer dot com to download on your home PC and then on just about any other device, I have it on my iPhone, Kindle Fire, iPad, and work PC.

This is day 5 and we still aren't getting any answers. What isa going on here!!! It doesn't take 5 days to pay your domain and get it back up and running.

I believe there is a no disclosure clause involved when a company files for Chapter 11.

Re: wilife.com outage status thread

Teamviewer is a free program that you can set up many computers for remote access. MSN's wasn't working for remote help so I use this now. Other poster is right, WiLife down far to often lately.

I am looking for other software that is compatible with this Logitech security cams. I paid for platinum and haven't got my monies worth yet out of it due to these outages!!!

As Trevor posted earlier if you have the Platinum services he is will to extend them. When everything is back up just PM him your wilife login.

Hi Everyone,

Our web team is currently working aggressively with the domain registration vendor on resolving this issue, but unfortunately we still do not have an ETA as of this morning. It is my understanding that there are unexpected complications with the domain name renewal, but those of us in customer care are not informed of the exact details regarding the difficulties we are encountering.

We will continue to escalate this issue internally and forward your thoughts to management. I sincerely apologize for the problem this may have caused. I will notify the community as soon as we have additional information.

Regards,

Re: wilife.com outage status thread

I'm sure I convey some of the feelings of other WiLife users out there when I point out that the carelessness of causing this situation, and the completely unheard-of time that it is taking to resolve is beyond reasonable.

When (whenever that manages to be) WiLife is restored, Logitech had better be, at the very least, offering a very heart-felt formal apology to all its loyal WiLife customers, and a credit for all Platinum members. It's unfair to suggest that all individual Platinum customers contact you to get credit, when the ball is clearly in your court. This affects all Platinum (and WiLife in general) customers, and you should treat it as such.

As a customer of both Alert and WiLife systems, the outages, errors, and fluctuating service is getting really out of hand and makes me strongly doubt any future purchases of either system.

Re: wilife.com outage status thread

Is it only the "older" generation cameras that are affected by this?  I believe that the new cameras use a different  site to access remote viewing.
