Re: wilife.com outage status thread

Dear jdp06,

Check to see if you are using direct mode. If you are then attempt to see if you can change the mode to relay on the website.

Once you have changed it to relay, attempt to view the camera(s).

Let us know how it goes.

 Regards

Re: wilife.com outage status thread

Cant believe this, wilife is down AGAIN! Its only been up 2 days and the web page is unavailable aklready. Can you 'magicians' at Logitech get this sorted. Find another server, get a backup server,

DO SOMETHING. You are in peril of losing a lot of custom and your reputation is declining fast, not a good position to be in with so much competition.

I am now looking at other, more reliable systems, and I expect more people are also doing the same after this last week of having no remote acces to your products.

Re: wilife.com outage status thread

Dear levegnoir,

Please try again. We did have a momentary glitch due to the systems getting propogated after the downtime. It has since been resolved.

Try again and if you need to, clear cache, cookies and temp files from the browser first, close the browser entirely down and open a new one.

Let us know how it goes.

 Regards

Re: wilife.com outage status thread

Has the e-mail alerts been working with everyone since the wilife.com issue started on the 28th of January?

Re: wilife.com outage status thread

Folks, I don't post here much (actually, almost entirely asking when the system will be up again), but I thought it to be the responsible and humaine to report that I switched to Blue Iris a week ago, and have had no interruptions at all.

My security system is in Cyprus, and I am in the US. I loaded it to test and figure out the settings on my PC here (really easy for a Wilife user - had one MicroSoft glitch, that the Blue Iris folks were happy to help me find [a corrupt Windows file]), and then Remote Desktopped it to the PC in Cyprus.

The functionality is the same (eMail alerts, actually the live and recorded interface is much easier). Working like a gem. And at less cost, I might add.

Good luck to you all. I hope to never have to return.

I did the same a couple months ago and have been very happy.  I do like the simplicity of CC though so I switch back and forth between them but this last long outage really made me consider just sticking with BI.
I got a lot of help here in the past so I try to frequent to help other but seems most topics anymore are about online viewing being down.

Hello plomaris,

Would you be able to check and see if the problem is persisting. We have not encountered any problems on our end.
