Just curious if anyone has had this issue or could tell me what I am doing wrong. I can not get the keyboard to type when using the Internet Channel, however, it works perfect in Monster Hunter Tri. I tried syncing the keyboard by pressing the button on the usb attachment, then the button on the back of the keyboard, but no dice. The keyboard is not defective as I've tested it in my PC as well as the game mentioned above. Anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? The manual that came with the keyboard is pretty useless. I'm afraid the problem is more likely to be as a result of how the Wii's 'IOS' software works. IOS is the collection of underlying software which channels and games run from, and for USB input to work the IOS that the application is using must support USB. Unfortunately, very few IOS support USB input, as it is only supported by a handful of games. Until Nintendo retrofits USB support into older IOS versions, there's no way to use USB devices in these applications, at least without modifications that will void your warranty.

So if my keyboard works on my pc and on the wii message board but not on the wii internet channel, do i have any recourse?  Is there anything I can do in order to get it to work?

Thanks for your response, however, I understand why it would not work in some games, but I was under the impression this was a "Wii" certified keyboard by Logitech.  So shouldn't this work in Wii's Internet Channel?
