Wii (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

I just received a karaoke wii game, and I thought my two Vantage microphones from my PS2 would work with it; however, they are not.  They are not even registering in my American Idol: Encore game at all.  Is the PS2 mic not compatible with the wii?  I figured since it was a USB mic, it would.

Any help would be appreciated.
