Thanks,

QuickCam Chat 9 Level number 961462-0403 should work under Windows 7 with LWS software.
Thanks,

Mine doesn't work either.. I got QuickCam Chat P/N:861193 -1000...
I tried the application compatibility settings to work as a WinXP SP2/SP3 software
.... and it still doesn't work at all...
No problem with installation...
but Win7 still says there's no driver found...
I tried the webcam software's and LWS... but nothing...

Bought Logitech Quickcam Connect E2500 (960-000217), downloaded and installed the Win 7 software, and still no luck. The available software provides no method to focus the camera (or it did not install correctly). First time I have been disappointed by Logitech product. Time is to valuable to mess with this thing. Taking it back to the store and will spend a little more money for another manufacturer/model.
Win 7 has done this to other apps...even Microsofts own products.

To focus it's easy if you read the quick start guide, turn the white ring. Focus depends on several things and this is one of the better cams I have used, regardless of cost. A quick look on the site, found the newest drivers for Win 7, all has been great, Since, I have sent these as a result to family for Christmas.
Good luck. notBob
