Hello:

I have a QuickCam Messenger webcam model M/N: V-UBC40 and installed QuickCam 8.4 software but it does not work on Windows 7 Ultimate.

I get "This program has known compatibility issues. Logitech Quickcam 9.0.2 has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows. For an update that is compatible with this version of Windows, contact Logitech, Inc.

Do I need to install another software or my webcam is not supported on Windows 7?

Hi robertin75,

Please download LWS(Logitech Webcam Software) V1.1 from out download site and select Windows 7 32 or 64bit depending on your OS.

Hello Pedro:

Are you 100% sure this software works with Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits?

Another Logitech representative answerd an email last week saying that my quickcam messenger webcam is not supported on Windows 7.

I tried to install LWS V1.1 but when I was asked to plug the webcam into the USB port it was not detected. I had to select Skip and when Windows tried to search for the driver it said it failed because such driver could not be found.

Am I missing or doing something wrong?

Ok, can you provide me the p/n located on the tag at the end of the USB cable please? This will confirm if your camera is supported under Windows 7.

why don't you just make the support to work this products **bleep** i will never own a logitech cam in my life
