I installed setpoint 4.8 to make my MX500 work with Win 7 x64, but it is still not working. When I try to configure my mouse I just see this screen with no possibility to make any changes:
Is there any solution or do I have to change my mouse (and my brand)???

I set my Manual Keystroke Assignments, however they do not work in all applications. For example, I set one of my Generic Buttons for the TAB key, however it does not respond in Aion.

MX500 is not supported in SetPoint. It is one of legacy mice that uses Mouseware.

I also have a MX500 (M-BP81A...which can't be found on your website) and I try to install Setpoint 4.80 on my Windows 7 x64 : no mouse tab.
If I refer to your answer, MX500 is not supported BUT the link on your website refers it as supported (Windows 7 Supported Products).
Will Logitech support it in a near future or should I go to another supplier ? The fact is we can't trust Logitech no more as you tell us MX500 is supported with setpoint and actually it is not the case.
I don't want to buy another Logitech and don't be sure it is or it isn't supported.

I have exactly the same problem--SetPoint 4.80 installs, but I get the same screen with no possibility to make any changes. I have an MX Revolution mouse and diNovo Edge keyboard, both of which are supposedly supported under Windows 7. I'm running the 64-bit Ultimate version. Device Manager recognizes the devices as generic HID-compliant devices, and offers no ways to enable the sepcial keys or features of each device.
This is the only hardware device I've been having problems with under Windows 7.

I'm using the Bluetooth Mouse V470, which is Windows 7 WHQL certified, but I have exact the same problem as all previous writers, that you can't configure the
mouse, even with SetPoint 4.80.
So many people complained about the same thing and Logitech still has no solution.

Please help. I have the just released Windows 7 64. As metioned here I cannot install setpoint 480 64. I get the infamous "The VC8 library was not installed correctly, please restart the machine and reinstall"
So as suggested here I tried to install both 64 and 32bit version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.
I did install the 32 version but unable to install the 64bit version. I get the error 2381.
This is real ugly please help.
Also as suggested I tried to install earlier versions of setpoint but they say you have a new version installed and they quit installing.
This is all in a complete new clean install of Windows 7 ultimate 64.
