Re: SetPoint 4.80 is Windows 7 WHQL certified and available for download

Change the brand; I will migrate to Microsoft me too, since their awful customer support...

I have tested SetPoint 480 with Win7 Home Prof. 32bit and it doesn't work either! Mice recognized - keyboard not.

LOL guys! setpoint afaik dont set up any keyboard, for keyborads (and Im talking about any G series) you must install lgps303 (the new version) thats the apps to install and setup your keyboards and G keys.

remember Setpoint is for mice and Lgps is for keyboards.

Caotico, this is not true; I have a Dinovo kit with mouse and keyboard and it worked perfectly with Setpoint and Vista.

Re: SetPoint 4.80 is Windows 7 WHQL certified and available for download

I said: (and Im talking about any G series) I know the only way o make work a G series keyboard is with Logiech G series profiler that comes with the drivers of the G15-13-19 Even the G11 with no Lcd uses the profiler.

So for the guy that tries to make a G series keyboard work and program the G keys with Setpoint. NO WAY.

So.... months roll by and there's no care or update for these ridiculous problems?  Is Logitech the only major vendor in the world who doesn't care about support for Win 7?  AFAIK they are.

Problem has been resolved.   I contacted Dell tech support, and they knew immediately what the issue was.  They updated a couple of drivers on my Latitude E6500, and installed a new BIOS, which I should have done as part of the upgrade to Windows 7.    Dell was able to take control of my laptop and fix the problem within about 30 minutes - I was very impressed with their service.

Re: SetPoint 4.80 is Windows 7 WHQL certified and available for download

I started out with two Logitech MX Duo keyboard and mouse combinations.  SetPoint 4.80 did not work and the Logitech Tech Support told me to change to the LX 700 combinations because they were supposed to be certified for Windows 7.
I have spent days trying to install SetPoint 4.80 in Windows 7 32 Bit for the Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 700. I have also tried modifying the Windows driver but it is still not working. One tech even had me download from an FTP site "Because the version on the website does not work." When I try to configure, there is no tab to make any changes for either device.  After several hours and days of contacting tech support, which led me in circles claiming that this issue is confined to my computer only, I reached a second tier support analyst who finally admitted that their software does not work in Windows 7.  He also told me they should have a new software release by the end of that week and would email me a response immediately to verify that I would be on distribution for the new release.  He didn't email me and there has been no upgrade in the past 3 weeks.
I now have 4 wireless keyboard and mouse combinations that I should just trash and replace with Microsoft equipment because their software works and I cannot get support from Logitech.
