I have had my DJ for a few month now but haven't been able to use it.
My reciver wount get reconized. I want to have it installed on my server (WinXP SP2) because it's on 24/7 and there is where all my music is. I can get it working on my LapTop (WinXP SP2) but I often leave it on my work...
Becuse it works on my LapTop I guess it's nothing wrong with the DJ but on my server I cant get it to work.
Booth the transmitter and the reciver gets the blue light but StremPoint will not recognize the reciver.
When I bought and install the DJ and couldn't get the reciver reconized I called the support.
Logitech in Sweden has the worst support I'v been in contact with. They where polite and everything but a dead monkey would have provided more help. The thechnical skill of the support people is really low and they promised to get back to me but they didn't. So I just had to put the DJ in a box. A bit too expencie to put in a box and the store will not take it back...
Now I have replaced my old server and thought that it might work better. Was I misstaken!
The exakt same issue even with another computer (WinXP SP2).
I downloaded 1.5 and installed it but the I couldn't get to the wizard at all. StreamPoint poped up in Task Manager but disapered right away.
I then uninstalled 1.5 and installed 1.0 from disk and the wizard did start but no device was recognized.
I then installed 1.5 from update in the menu and I now get the transmitter and remote recognixed but the reciver is impossible to get working.
To me it feels like a software issue but since Logitch seams to just ignor my mail and phonecalls I don't know what to do now. And there have been no update for ages either so I guess Logitech is saticfied ith everything the way they are.
Does anybode have any idea of whats could be wrong? I really would like the things I buy to work and in this case Logitec hhas clearly showed that they don't care about my problem because they have no solution.
P.s I hope you understand what I mean, my English isn't that good...
