Cordless keyboard/mouse problem

Hi,
I have a strange problem in that I cannot have the DJ transmitter connected to the USB port at start-up of computer, if I do my cordless keyboard/mouse (Logitech MX700) wont work!! But if I wait to attach the DJ after start-up of computer both DJ and cordless keyboard/mouse works fine!
Anyone that have some good ideas?

The USB Music Transmitter of the Wireless DJ draws a pretty significant amount of current over the USB connection, especially at startup. It sounds like your USB port isn't able to keep up with the startup power demands of both the transmitter and your mouse/keyboard dongle.

It might help to move one device to a different USB port / bus, or to use a powered hub.

Re: Cordless keyboard/mouse problem

OK that is what I myself suspected so I have tried to move it around my USB ports, and actually I get a message from XP on not enough power when I connect this through an unpowered USB hub.
I will try a powered one and get back with the result.

Thanks for a quick reply

Re: Cordless keyboard/mouse problem

That did the trick!
But only when I put both my cordless keyboard/mouse AND the DJ into the active USB hub!?
Nevertheless, thanks for your help.
