Wireless DJ - Hardware

Hi folks,

I own a working Squeezebox - I'm happy with it. Would I enjoy it more with one of the new controllers that have the little screen.  One more thing - The new 'Boom' - is that just a Squeezebox with speakers. I like the look of both these items, but do I need them ??
