Hi Michael,
Thanks for the prompt feedback on this issue.
I'm using the Z-5450 speaker configuration on my PC. The rear speakers are set at maximum volume with the front as low as possible and I still can hardly hear the rear speakers.
After what you told me, is it possible that the on-board ASUS Sound Max system isbn't providing enough drive to the Z5450 speaker system?
If I try the CD or DVD player on my PC, as you suggested, it most likely would have the same ptoblem since the sound still comes from the on-board sound max system.
So far I'm disappointed with the rear speaker performance. Do you think a separate Sound Blaster audio card would solve this issue? Thanks for your time. Jerry Sr.

My limited technical expertise doesn't allow me to advise you further. In control panel / sounds & audio devices / speakers - what is the setting for your speakers? Perhaps changing the speakers set-up settings (maybe to 5.1) may help? Is it the installation of the DJ that has caused this problem or does this problem exist regardless of the DJ?
