Wireless DJ - Hardware

I just got my SqueezeBox Duet system and hooked it up yesterday.  No problems and I'm loving it.

One question though...  there appears to be a headphone jack on the top of the remote but I can't seem to get any signal out of it and see no reference of it in documentation.  Anyone have any ideas about this?
