Wireless DJ - Hardware

Howdy.

For the first few weeks I had the Wireless DJ, it worked fine.  Then out of the blue, the only thing produced is a burst of static every three seconds.  Any suggestions? 

Also, I have:

1.  Pressed and held the button until the light flashed.

2.  Moved the unit to about 3 feet from the transmitter

3.  Tried new USB ports.

4.  Turned off my WiFi

5.  Reinstalled the software

6.  Tried playing the music through the PC - worked beautifully.

very strange, either sounds like a hardware fault or interferrence to me?  any of your neighbours got a wireless system lately?
