Does anyone know of a way to boost the wireless signal?

What are the problems that you are experiencing that would require a boosted signal?

The remote shows only 1 bar for the signal often and I am experiencing dropouts.  My PC and stereo reciever are about 30 ft apart, but there are 3  plaster walls between them.  Any ideas on how to improve the signal?

Chances are you have done these already but here goes, in no particular order:

If the transmitter is on its base, turn it on its side;

Move the transmitter so that nothing in the room it is in is between the wall and the transmitter;

Attach a USB extension lead to increase the distance between the computer itself and the transmitter, I believe the optimum distance is about 6 feet;

Try maximizing the volume level on the PC / Wireless DJ remote. Also - try playing something in iTunes or Windows Media Player using PC Control Mode, and see if the output level is any different.
