Interesting in the "HELP" file for this device and also in the manual... it lists that it will play back using both the PC speakers and the remote speaker system connected to the receiver.... Help file says "Enable playback on Local PC"
Tech support says it WAS going to go into a future software update but it's not there and will not be there later.. this is total BS...
What gives?

I think you're saying that the "Stream All PC Sounds" selection in the Streampoint SW doesn't work. I found that to be the case also, which is why I was looking on this forum. I am able to get all PC sounds sent to my remote speakers by selecting Logitech as the default audio device in the control panel "Sounds...".
I would encourage Logitech to make this work as it would be more convenient than using Control Panel. I find the Windows Media Player interface to Internet radio to be extremely cumbersome, arcane, and mysterious. So I avoid it as much as possible. Plus, if you just listen to Internet radio via your browser, Media Player isn't necessarily even involved. I can't see how, w/o "Stream All PC Sounds" or w/o using the control panel, it's possible to simply send browser-originating sound (e.g. Internet radio) to the speakers. This is something Logitech could make simpler IMHO. Concentrate more on straightforward ways to get sounds to speakers and less on the whole "library" concept.
I don't think I'm more susceptible to confusion on these points than the average customer, since I've been a computer professional at the systems level for 2 decades.
Other than these points, I absolutely love the product and I feel it's delivered high value for the price.

The "bad" thing about all this is.. streaming to both ALREADY works! I can, usually, stream all PC sounds to the WDJ device AND by playing with settings, get it to send the test sound SIMUTAINIOUSLY to the PC speakers... JUST can't get it to stream the actual audio that I want it to stream!
I REALLY don't want to send the WDJ back to Newegg.com "complaining" about "not working as advertised" because I think this is a truly superior product.. one which, from what I can see by observation, has the physical ability to do what we want it to do.. there is simply a very slight software glitch, which, IF addressed (does not look like it will happen) would allow a very easy interface where we could do with, what we desire, with this really cool little transmitter/receiver!
At the very least, the ability to control volume to a "broad" system via bluetooth's vastly longer range than IR remotes... IF the dual output would work, this thing would be a CLASSIC "must have" for "whole house" audiophiles on a budget...
I sincerely hope the "on a budget" part of this is not what holds Logitech back from spending the hours with their software engineers to get this one right..
Maybe it's an out of production item but..... Continued support for those items you NO LONGER MAKE, certainly engender loyalty within your customer base and make FUTURE purchases that much easier for those who are coming along today and want to buy your current releases...
Personally, I spend TENS of thousands on digital photo equipement.. It's what I do.. I'm about half deaf, so I do not see any benefit to going into the thousands of dollars of investment to get sound from my PC to my home system/systems... particularly when I can see that the system I need is one or two lines of code away from being able to do it RIGHT NOW!

Not sure what you are referencing. My system works fine in my remote room as well as my host PC. Plays fine through my host PC speakers. Are you not getting that part to work?

Unfortunately, no.. .It's either or.. Can you detail your setup? I'd LOVE to get it to stream PC sounds as well as playing through the PC speakers!
