Media Player & internet radio

WMP11: I have a radio station in My Playlists and play it in WMP, but WDJ does not see it: does not display in playlists on the remote.
The connection file is a .wpl.
I entered it in a playlist entire by playing it from the web site and saving Now Playing: I cannot use the WMP radio station method as it does not find the station.
However, opening in my plalist entry does not require a web browser...
Any ideas on what is wrong?
Streampoint is up to date: 1.0.515
Thanks

Re: Media Player & internet radio

This is probably a stupid question - but have you checked under "internet radio" on the remote? Cause that's where my stations are placed after doing the same as you describe in wmp 11 (can't get the stations to connect/play though - have asked for assistance in other threads...)

Re: Media Player & internet radio

Something that worked for me was bringing the remote closer to the PC I am streaming from for the update.

Try this:

1.  Go to Streampoint settings
2.  Click on "Wireless DJ Remote".  If the software says "remote not connected" you remote is too far away from the PC to take the update when you do an "Update All" to add your new stations/mp3s.
3.  Bring your remote near your PC.
4.  Check Wireless DJ Remote again to see if your streaming PC sees your remote now.
5.  Click "Update All" in the Music Library and leave your remote near the PC while the update occurs.
6.  When it is done.  Check to ensure the new stations are on the remote, and return the remote to the location where it is being used (e.g.--Bedroom) and play your stations and enjoy!!

Re: Media Player & internet radio

Thanks, but this problem was resolved when I got all of the latest updates.
Why the automatic update had not worked is a mystery...
Thanks!
