Wireless DJ - Media Players

I use the new Windows media 11 with Home XP.  Will the DJ device work with this or will I have to use some other music software for my library?  The is a great thread.  I hope someone answers.

Both Windows Media Player and I-Tunes will work perfectly with the Wireless DJ, although you should make sure you have the latest version of Streampoint installed to ensure no problems with WMP 11. Musicmatch also works, although with less functionality.

I'm using WMP10 because I find it provides a better experience than iTunes (more stable, faster reaction time with Wireless DJ, less sound cut-outs). Problem is, I have most of my music in .aac format (no DRM). I've got the .aac files to play in WMP with the 3vix plugin, and syncronised my library metadata with MusicBridge.

Problem is getting StreamPoint to use WMP to play all files. Even though WMP can play the AACs and they are in its library, StreamPoint ignore them an insists on using iTunes for .aac. If iTunes is disabled it still ignores the .aacs.

Looking for a workaround to let StreamPoint play .aac with WMP.
