Re: Exception Processing Message

I have been having the same problem on Windows Media PLayer. I have disabled all enhancements and still seem to have the problem! I have a Nero Plugin and a Windows Live Messenger Plugin enabled through Media PLayer but am unable to remove them? I have enabled the system to work without fault by using Itunes as the default plater however i would prefer to use Windows Media PLayer - Has anyone anyother things to look at to resolve this message error issue?

Re: Exception Processing Message

To all, Try uninstalling WMP, cleaning any reference to WMP out of the registry, reboot a couple of times to ensure no residual files, and then install an EARLIER version of WMP. I would suggest cleaning out Streampoint at the same time before installing the earlier version of WMP and then reinstalling Streampoint.

Re: Exception Processing Message

Hi folks,

I think I got it !!!!!!!!!!!! :smileyvery-happy:
I had to many times this awful error message :
"exception processing message 0xc000007b parameters 0x7604023C 0x7604023c 0x7604023c 0x7604023c"

Google is generally my friend, but wasn't this time... :smileysad:

I tried to reinstall the StremPoint software, disable all DSP features and so on, then - even if I do not own an iPod - I installed the latest iTunes, but always the same error... I was on the way to wrap it up back to Logitech... :smileymad:

Then I think I found the cure :
Please check that ALL of your mp3 songs has the "name of the song field" and the "artist field" filled. I mean no blank in those two fields for each of your mp3s.
You can do it easily with iTunes, just right click on your song, then get information, then tab infos, and fill the two first fields with anything you want.

Then it works perfectly well now on my configuration :
Windows Vista Pro 32bits
iTunes 7.5.0.20
StreamPoint 1.5.744.1, with the only iTunes library selected (and up-to-date please !...)
WMP 11.0.6000.6344 (but I don't think any of the WMP features is longer used by StreamPoint in my config...)

Hope it'll help :smileyhappy::smileytongue::smileyhappy:
Please let us know if it solved your problem.

Have a nice... musical Christmas ! :smileywink:
Fred.

Re: Exception Processing Message

Just set up my wireless dj i got for christmas and much to my dissapointment i have the same problem as most people in this thread have. When i set up a playlist of songs via the handset and try to play them it says on handset, windows media plsyer issue. Also it comes up with an error message on my laptop Windows-bad image Exception processing message 0x0000007b parameters 0x07576023c etc etc....
I have installed i tunes and set this as the default player in streampoint and it played ok the first time i did this, niw it just keeps coming up with the windows bad image error twice every time you play a song and it wont play unless you click ok on the error box.
I am running vista. Any ideas?
I am not that computer savvy and hoped this would just work out the box, didnt want to have to be trawling the net and my pc looking for solutions...

Re: Exception Processing Message

I've got a sony XL-302 running vista and WMP 11.  I've tried disabling all the plugins in WMP but there isn't a VST, only a SSMS audio filter plugin. I'm only getting the message once when I start using the remote and after that I can switch it off and use it problem free for the rest of my windows session. Once the computer is restarted, however, I get the "exception processing message" again. Not the end of the world but annoying all the same. Any more suggestions anyone? Cheers.

Re: Exception Processing Message

Hi Ruddy,SSMS was also my problem..mine is also a VAIO..no other workaround unless you want to decide on switching to iTunes as the player for WDJ.

Funnily enough..I no longer get this error now even with SSMS on..must be something to do with the vista updates..but either way it does not make it sound any better..rather I like it without it...must be due to the multiple resampling by SSMS and WDJ sound card..

way to go..Brody..glad it worked..!

Re: Exception Processing Message

Seems I'm having similar probems.  But I have no plugins running.  I get this error message:

Windows - Bad Image

Exception Processing Message 0xc000007b Parameters 0x75FF023C 0x75FF023C 0x75FF023C 0x75FF023

I too can close it and get it to play, but what a pain.

Any ideas?

Re: Exception Processing Message

Same trouble for me...

Setup:
- Dell Inspiron 530
- Vista Home Premium
- Streampoint 1.5.744.1
- iTunes 7.1.6.9 selected as the Streampoint Music Library
- No MediaPlayer Plug-ins

After each song, i get

Exception Processing Message 0xc000007b Paramters
0x7650023C 0x7650023C 0x7650023C 0x7650023C

Could Logitech please make a statement if they can reproduce the error and are working on it or not?

Will there be a next Streampoint-Version that covers the issue?

Thanks!

Re: Exception Processing Message

Just installed vista service pack 1 and the problem seems to have resolved. Hope that works for everyone else...
