Need option to send SAME application output to multiple recievers at one time

I just purchased the Wireless Music System for PC and was astonished at how easy it was to setup and how good it sounds.  I had nightmares attempting to setup a PC based network for the Apple Airport Expresses through a Linksys router.  Your product simply worked right out of the box.

That being said, I am very disappointed that it doesn't actually do what I need it to do and I may have to take it back as well as the additional recievers I purchased.  What I am looking for is a way to share the audio output of my laptop or any of my pc's with all or any of my sound systems in my home at the same time.  I have 3 floors and I would like to stream the same tunes through all of the systems as I roam around the house.  The current software only allows a selection of one station at at time.  So close!  Anyone hosting a party would also appreciate this ability, or anyone who has outdoor speakers and wishes to enjoy their music both inside and out at the same time.

Would it be possible to update the software so that multiple recievers could be paired together to recieve the same signal?  This seems very plausible through the interface.

I am hoping for some help here.  I would even be willing to send in my recievers all back to the factory to be permanently paired if that is an option.  Please help!

Such a great product with one tragic flaw.

Thanks!

Re: Need option to send SAME application output to multiple recievers at one time

The architecture that the Wireless DJ Music System is built upon is only capable of streaming music to one remote receiver at a time (this is primarily a wireless bandwidth limitation).

Re: Need option to send SAME application output to multiple recievers at one time

So you can not play to more than one wireless DJ system because of bandwidth issues, but.......
How about allowing the system to play to one or more sound cards at the same time it is streaming to one wireless DJ receiver??

For example, if I have two physical sound cards in addition to the virtual sound card that Streampoint installs on my pc....
1=PC       (physical sound card #1)
2=Stereo (physical sound card #2)
3=bedroom stereo via wireless DJ (virtual sound card)

The remote currently allows me to choose ONE of the three choices, but does not allow multiple selections.
I would love to have the ability to play to more than one location simultaneously - provided that the extra locations are are not wireless DJ systems (thus no bandwidth issues that you claim).

Thanks!

What you describe is something being actively working on ... no guarantee when it'll be ready (and bug-free), though ...
