Vista - Soundcard Disabled

Had wireless DJ since xmas but upgraded PC in Feb to Vista, so had to wait to re-install.

Now installed with Vista version and all runs fine except that every time I start Streampoint, mt PC card (Creative SB Xfi) is disabled and will not play sound through the PC. Stopping and unloading Streampoint makes no difference. Tried re-booting the PC...no improvement. Tried disabling and re-enabling the sound card....no difference.

So bottom line is that with no Logitech software running at all, I have a inoperable soundcard with no way to get it working again.

Anybody got any ideas how to solve this problem?

Re: Vista - Soundcard Disabled

Problem now solved. Vista users could easily have the same problem with other sound cards due to the changes in the way Vista handles sound processing.

Is the Wireless DJ now working for you with Vista. I was wondering, because so many posts suggested problems with Vista. When I get my new computer, it will have Vista, and I'll have to hope that the Wireless DJ will work, as I've grown dependent :-) on it.
