hello, I do not speak Englsih, but she will try to explain my problem with the help of a translator 1.- Buy a WDJ, you use the installation CD, you connect all them part and everything I work well. 2.- Automatically I update software streampoint 3.- Automatically I update the software of the remote control 4.- after this it completes last update, the system I do not work but. the LCD of the remote control shows the following message: Preparing to play. Somebody knows as east problem is solved I wait for its advice. thanks

Hey, I have the same problem.
I downloaded newest streampoint software, it updated remote control firmware.
I can't play a single song on my wireless DJ; it displays "preparing to play" on the remote and nothing happens. If I 'reboot' the remote, then I can browse through the menus but I can't select anything (as if the communication with the PC no longer works). However, if I click on play test in streampoint, I can hear the test on my remote speakers.

I found the solution and thought it would be useful to share it.
As pointed out in another similar thread, the solution is to disable any antivirus software, disable Windows defender and user account control and then uninstall and reinstall streampoint. Worked for me.
