I'm trying to set up Squeezebox Duet. When I try to connect the controller, my wireless network name does not show up in the list of available networks.
After reading the troubleshooting section here, I configured my ZoneAlarm firewall to allow the ports used by the Squeezebox, but that didn't change anything.
I tried choosing "Other Network" and entering the network's name and WEP 128 encryption key manually, but with no luck. (Yes, I checked and triple-checked that the key was entered correctly!)
Another troubleshooting article said: "If MAC filtering is enabled on the wireless router, the player’s MAC address should be added to the wireless router’s list of allowed addresses."
I *think* MAC filtering is enabled since my NetGear "wireless modem," as they called it when I had wifi installed, has a MAC address. I think this wireless modem is the router, correct? As far as I know I have no software associated with this router, so I don't know how to add the player's MAC address to the list of allowed addresses.
If anyone can give me any help here, I would be very grateful!
