Freepulse System Constantly Loses Connection

To Whom It May Concern:

I recently purchased the Freepulse, and have charged it to full several times (despite not having used it more than a total of an hour since I received it).

Here's what's happening:
I turn on the headset and receiver, both flash red for a bit, and they sync, both lights turn blue. I plug the receiver into my iPhone and begin listening to an audio feed, for example from youtube. The receiver almost immediately turns red, the headset loses connection, I hear the audio cue from the headset notifying me of the disconnection.

Sometimes the sync holds long enough for me to get through most of a song. Sometimes it syncs and holds fine for enough songs that I stop worrying about it for that listening session. Sometimes the sync takes closer to 5-10 flashes of red before turning blue, sometimes it syncs within 3 red flashes.

I've tried debugging this a bit, and have synced the receiver and headset successfully WITHOUT plugging them into an audio source. They stay blue for as long as I've waited (~10 min or so). When I plug it into my iPhone (I can try with my iPod if you think that's an issue), it loses sync almost immediately, flashes red for a bit, then turns solid red. It seems the input thru the mini-jack of the receiver causes something to go wrong.

Is there a way for it to re-sync WITHOUT turning it off? Losing sync once in a while is annoying but having to power cycle the receiver/headset pair is becoming unbearable.

I also have re-paired them (hold power buttons until stage 3, red/blue blinking). It's not like they won't connect, it's just that they don't stay connected when playing audio.

I charged them to full yesterday (the orange light from the charger went out) and then unplugged them and let it charge again just in case. I used them for maybe 10 min after it charged, and today for maybe less than 5 minutes before the problem occurred again.

I will keep them paired for longer, 30 min + without plugging them in to see if they stay connected.

Sorry for the long post, trying to be as clear as possible. If someone can help, that would be appreciated!

Re: Freepulse System Constantly Loses Connection

Hi Mike, thanks for your quick reply. It's unfortunate that this has to happen, both for the user and for Logitech. The overhead of exchanging items must be difficult.
