Unable to connect FreePulse to PC via Bluetooth

When I first bought my FreePulse wireless headphones, I was able to connect them to their reciever and use it with my PC as well as connect them to the PC using the Bluetooth built into my DV9000T HP Pavillion notebook running Vista Home Premium. My PC was then reformatted and now, the headphones will not connect to it. I put the headphones in "discoverable mode", and the "Add Device" wizard found them, I entered the passkey and it says the connection was successful, but the light never turns blue on the headphones and they do not play the sounds from the computer. Other bluetooth devices have no problem connecting to the PC. Any tips?

Hi Davin,
Do they still work with the dongle?

Re: Unable to connect FreePulse to PC via Bluetooth

Mike,
You seem to know quite a bit here, so lets see if you can help me out.  I have linked my FreePulse Headphones with my Dell laptop.  Bluetooth recognizes them, no problem.  But it is asking me for drivers for the headphones.  I have searched online for drivers and I have tried numerous other drivers and I have gotten no where.  I try to connect the headphones and I never get the blue light to come up, simply a solid RED.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much

Re: Unable to connect FreePulse to PC via Bluetooth

Hi HP,
I would guess that the drivers being referred to are for the Bluetooth connection on your laptop. Headphones are passive and only receive what is sent to them by either the dongle, (what we support), or some other Bluetooth transmitter. This is all to do with your OS and Bluetooth connection on your laptop.
