I'll apologize in advance if this question has been asked and answered already, but I didn't see this exact question as I perused the forum.
I just bought the Freepulse Headphones today and they are charged and work flawlessly thus far. However, I have a Bluetooth enabled laptop that I was hoping could serve as the transmitter to the headphones as opposed to the earphone jack transmitter. So my question is: will the bluetooth transmitter in my laptop work with the earphones instead of having to use the adapter?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Don,
As long as the laptop BT is A2DP compliant it should work. Ive got my FreePulse and Lenovo IBM T60 playing music now.
Thank you for your post.

Press the pairing button until it blinks red/blue. At that moment your laptop can recognize and pair the device (if A2DP compatible).
The code if asked: 0000
I use the Freepulse headphones with my Toshiba Sat. A200.

I have a Broadcom 2045 Bluetooth 2.0 Internal card in my Alienware m9750 and it will not connect. I hold the button on my headset down til it blinks red then I search for a Bluetooth device on my laptop and it does not find it. How do I tell if its not A2DP compatible?

I fixed the issue. I had to turn it on till it was a solid red. Then hold the power button again until it starts blinking red and blue. I am an idiot lol. I just didn't hold it down long enough. It took a couple seconds of holding it down, but when I searched for a Bluetooth device on my computer the freepulse headset came up. Problem solved. Now it works perfectly and there is no need for the receiver now.
