I've hooked up 3 Wireless DJ systems in my home, using only one transmitter, one remote and 3 receiving docking stations hooked up to 3 different stereos, which are all synced with the one transmitter.
I'm sucessfully able to send my music from room to room (one in the family room on the main floor, one in the living room on the main floor and the third in the theatre room on the 2nd floor) However, as my PC is in the 2nd floor in an office, there's quite a bit a distance and quite a number of walls the signal must go through to get to all the receivers.
I'm finding that the music is cutting in and out at the receiver that's furthers from the transmitter, so I'm considering hooking the transmitter to my PC with a 50 foot USB extention cable so the transmitter can be placed in a more central location to the 3 receivers with hopes of reducing the distance and number of walls the signal will have to travel through.
1, Can anyone advise me if the 50 foot extention USB cable between he PC and transmitter will reduce the signal strenght the transmitter is sending?
2, Is there anyway of getting this configuration to work with two or 3 remotes at the same time?
3, Is there any way of getting the transmitter to send the signal to two or even all three recievers at the same time?

In practice, the USB specification limits the length of a cable between full speed devices to 5 meters (a little under 16 feet 5 inches).

Did you have to buy 3 transmitters also, or is it possible to buy the receivers separately?

I bought 3 entire kits as I couldn't find any receiver bases seperatly.
this way I have 2 extra transmitters and remotes in the event something fails in the future. I've also justified this by now having 3 batteries that over time will likely stop holding the charge and finding such an obscure battery in 3 or 4 years certainly won't be easy. All in all each unit cost aprox $100 so a total $300 invenstment was not bad to achieve what I wanted to accomplish.

Any other questions le me know

Dear Juhasz,
...would be very kind if you could answer the question, if you are able to stream to multiple receives simultanously ... because i cant do it.
