I have been using the boom for some weeks but turned it would not turn on tonight.
When I turned it on it started to step through the network set-up. I have a wireless connection and it got as far as trying to connect to the network and then seemed to shut down.
a soft and hard power down makes no difference and I even tried holding down the power key and the Add + key when I turned mains power back on but to no effect.
The screen is blank but all the lights behind the buttons are lit for a few secs, then they all flick off, the radio preset buttons 5 and 6 light up followed a brief moment later by all the lights and this cycle continues until I turn the power off. The main screen stays blank throughout all this.
Tried power down and connecting to my LAN using a standard ethernet cable (which works for my PS3 so no network issues there)
Any help or advice appreciated
Logan

I'm having the exact same problem! I'm afraid its a hardware issue, since it was just all of a sudden - no power surge, didnt drop it, etc...it just stopped working
Please post if you find an answer - I'll do the same!
Thanks!

My boom died in exactly the same way 48 hours ago. Completely black display. Buttons flashing. No reset working. I've seen other numbers though; 36, 256 and 56.

Sounds like a hardware failure, contact logitech support, www.logitech.com/support/ to confirm, and have it exchanged at your dealer if the hardware failure is confirmed.
