Squeezebox Server does not "see" iTunes

I'm setting up a new Windows 7 (HP) computer and loaded my music onto it from the backup drive.  That didn't show my playlists, so I copied the itunes library from the old computer and itunes is happy, showing all playlists, playing everything correctly.

But my newly downloaded Squeezebox Server "sees" no music when I tell it to use itunes.  Can't figure it out.

If you don't tell it to use iTunes does it see the music? Or the SBS sees nothing no matter what? In settings have you pointed it toward the correct location of the music/

Yes, I can see all the music if I go directly to it.  It's just the iTunes link that doesn't work.  If I use that, it doesn't see any music.

Re: Squeezebox Server does not "see" iTunes

To be clear, if you don't select the integrate with itunes option, SbS loads all your music, and when using the web browser, you see all your artists, albums, etc. within the SbS web interface and can browse, play, etc. Is this correct?

Re: Squeezebox Server does not "see" iTunes

Actually, based on Transporter's post, above, I went back and tried aiming at a different directory, which did turn out to solve the problem.  I thought I'd already tried the directory in which the iTunes library resides, but in any case, pointing there has worked now and the problem is solved simply.

Thanks for the responsiveness.
