problems with ghost tracks

hello everybody,
My problem is,the streampoint program go to the itunes program to catch every information to form a bibliothèque with the names of the tunes, groups, and every information to make his own bibliothèque. so when i ask to the strempoint program to catch these informations, it takes a lot of ancien information deleted a long time ago and makes ghost informations like inreadable tunes. I have about 5299 of these ghosts and don't know how to delete them.

Would you like to tell me what's the problem and where is it, with itunes or streampoint?

geez

Re: problems with ghost tracks

so I've solved my problem, I followed the advice to go to application data and to delete the streampoint files that contained the library files.

Well i'm very happy bye

Hi,

I've got the same problem - could you specify the solution?

Are the library files easy to find (any chance of screwing up the system by deleting the wrong files..?) - where exactly are the application data located?

Re: problems with ghost tracks

1. Go to this location C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Logitech
Now delete StreamPoint folder.

2:click on stream point settings

3: Click on Music Library.

4: remove any files

5: Click on Start and then Settings
6. Open the Windows Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs
7. Locate the listing for the Logitech StreamPoint software and click on remove
8: Restart your system.

reload logitech program

i did not tick the box to get music from my media player, ONLY from my music file, select the file your music is in then update.

hopefully this should work

2. Now configure Music Library:

a. Click on Start.
b. Click on Programs.
c. Click on Logitech StreamPoint.
d. Click on StreamPoint settings.
e.

i. Click on Ok and close the window.

Step 1: Determine the location of the updated playlist (iTunes library files and the .xml file).

Step 2: Turn off the remote. Open the StreamPoint software located on your System Tray.

Step 3: Select Music Library -> Modify -> Add -> Link it to the location of the updated playlist.

Step 4: Try removing other unused directories and maintain the latest only.
