G25 for Xbox 360???

Just wondering if Logitech is going to be coming out with a wheel similar or the same as the G25 that is compatible for xbox 360? Just seems a little odd that Microsoft wont make a wheel for their own system but will for their competitors.

At this moment, we have no announced plans for this. I'll look into this, but honestly, I wouldn't be holding my breath.

Hello SheffieldS60:

Thanks for showing your enthusiasm. I'll make sure the appropriate teams within Logitech know about your feedback:smileyhappy:

Re: G25 for Xbox 360???

I’ve owned the Wingman Formula Force, Momo force, DFP and currently enjoying the G25 on PS3 and PC. Loved em all...

Will be buying an XBOX 360 for Race Pro and will need a wheel. Please announce a Logitech FFB wheel/pedal unit for XBOX 360.

There is another company making a high end wheel (that will even be able to use the g25’s pedals) I’m sure you are aware of but I’d rather stay with the Logitech family!

i just think it's strange that the Fanatec wheel can be used with the PC, PS3 and Xbox360 with Full Force Feedback for all systems and yet, logitech can't add support for xbox 360 to their wheel...

Re: G25 for Xbox 360???

To be honest i can't figure out why Logitech is not interested in the Xbox market.

Especially now that SimBin (with racePro) has developed a REAL driving simulation.

I don't know exactly the technicality behind the USB certification chip but i suppose that it could be easy sorted out with an external optional (eg dongle on the usb cable or wireless adapter for the whell)

Re: G25 for Xbox 360???

I'm a new SCCA driver. So I waited to get a XBox 360 just so that I could get the G25, thinking Forza2 is better than PS3's  GT and the platform is cheaper. I don't want that rink-a-dink wheel/controller that X-Box offers. Is there a comparable steering wheel set that is all inclusive, price range, clutch pedal etc? I'm actually considering selling my Xbox and going to PS3 just for the ease of practice and access to the G25.  It's still cheaper than buying a PC for R-Factor. How much better it the new sim racing game compared to Forza 2 or R-Factor? I've never played R-Factor but I've heard a lot of great things. I basically use the driving games to practic when I can't get real seat time.

Re: G25 for Xbox 360???

Well Logitech, what's the deal?!

We've been waiting for a multiplatform wheel for AGES now a competing company has finally done it.

Frankly I think the G25 LOOKs better - I couldn't care less for some dopey porsche branding (I don't even like Porsche)

Still,.... cmon now - I've been saying for 3 years I'll buy a wheel if it's multiplatform and here, Fanatec have done it.

Any comments? We want a competing wheel!
