So is there any news on maybe a new wheel sicne forza 3 has been anounced. and has anyone used the fanatec wheel for the 360 is it worth it?

It is game over for Logitech man, Microsoft probably shafted them with their ridiculous licensing rules.

I am under the impression Fanatec had a HELL OF A TIME making that multiplatform wheel and that it's a LIMITED RUN of only 10,000 units

Microsoft, Sony do not like playing well together, they are like stupid little children - costing us money in wasted minerals, resources, cupboard space.

I want ONE single multiplatform wheel, and I'll pay through the nose for it - Fanatec have come through but not without trouble from MS's stupidity.

Nah man, you should feel comfortable buying the Fanatec, it's very well reviewed and the only multiplatform wheel to exist.

I would love to point the finger at logitech but I've been whining about this for 4 years on the net, FOUR YEARS there's no doubt in my mind they are trying but MS or Sony (I'd bet MS) are being complete tools.

The G25 is a fantastic wheel but if you want the best right now, the G25 is finished :/

It is sad too! The G25 looks better and I so so don't care about some stupid Porsche branding! however it's the only wheel which does what I need.

Now Fanatec need to bring it to Australia.

I have a PS3 and a Xbox360 also a PC.

I  also have a G25 wheel.

I want a good wheel to work with the 360 and i am thinking about ordering the Fanatec wheel.

The only problem i have is that the G25 is a fantastic product and i do not want to change to another wheel if possible.

Will logitech ever make the G25 work with the 360 or is it impossible.

It would be heartbreaking to me if i buy the Fanatec wheel and a few months later the G25 gets a mod to allow it to work.

Logitech had a cheap wheel that was for the 360 so why can they not have a top end wheel working.

Could they not make a new gearchange unit with the xbox buttons

They must have had a license for the cheap wheel so whats the reason.

I think considering the age of the G25, Logitech will just release a G45 in a few years, IF they convince Microsoft to let them put it on the 360, it's extremely unlikely though   (it's been asked for SO long man............ it's not gonna happen)

Sell the G25 on ebay, it's still going to command a great price.

Well let me add my 2cents. I also have the G25 which I love btw, as well as the DFP, and the MS racing wheel. I race on my pc and PS3  exclusively because the G25 is compatible with my pc and ps3. It is virtually impossible for me to switch wheels when I want to race on my xbox because I have a cockpit with my G25 permanently mounted in it which prevents me from playing any racers on the 360.

I would raher logitech release a fully compatible wheel over me buying the Fanatec wheel because I so far have loved all of my logitech products and would like to stick with the company if possible. With that said I badly need ONE wheel that is compatible with my pc, ps3, and 360, if i have to switch brands and jump to Fanatec I will do that even though I'm not happy with the price point of their wheel even if it is a quality piece.

I agree I have used Logitech products for years.  I switched from PS2 to Xbox 360 due to the arrogance of sony delaying the PS3 for the Uk market.  Now I am stuck as Forza 2 (awesome driving game) does not have a logitech wheel.  I made the error of buying an ms wheel.  Oh dear.  Back to the shop the next day.  At the moment I am committed to Forza, until they update a version of WRC Evolved, but I wont buy another wheel form anybody until I can get one for the xbox.  Logitech you really are missing a trick here.  I would buy a G25 Xbox edition TOMORROW.  Dont you want my money???

All of the recent posters to this thread may want to read the entire thread (all of the posts prior to you). Especially post #13 & 15 where CharlesB from Logitech answered the questions being posed in the thread.

I too would love to see a force feedback wheel from Logitech for XBox 360, but from his replies, I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon.

I read the entire thread before posting which is why I registered to voice my thoughts so logitech can see that they will be loosing customers\revenue.  Imagine how many multiple system owners out there that are looking for 1 universal wheel. This is one reason why I dislike M$'s descisons on 3rd party devices.......but this is a topic for another thread.
