Cannot change volume when alarm goes off

Hi,

I cannot change the radio volume when the alarm goes off. The rotary button does nothing. Pretty basic alarm clock functionality. Forgotten?

Could you fix this in a firmware upgrade? Would be a waste of the nice dial otherwise.

Hello wout78;

  Thank you for your post.  It is not possible to change the alarm volume after it has been set.  You can change the alarm volume when you initally set the alarm.

Hold Down Alarm1 or Alarm2 for 2 seconds.

Using the Control knob, set the hour. Press Control knob to accept. Do the same for Minutes.

Rotate the Control knob to select alarm source (iPhone, iPod, FM radio, or buzzer). Press the Control knob to accept.
Rotate the Control knob to set alarm volume. Press the Control knob to accept.

Cheers!

Re: Cannot change volume when alarm goes off

Ah, major bummer! Suppose there's a great song on the radio, and then I want to turn it up.

Since no function seems to be hooked to the dial when the alarm started the radio, couldn't you assign the volume function to it? In fact that would be a very user friendly default, give it the volume function, unless it's needed for something else.

Re: Cannot change volume when alarm goes off

I ended up trying another alarm clock: the gear4 houseparty rise 2. I have to say the gear4 guys made a better alarm clock. Much better sound, pretty good app for setting alarms, and it will let me change volume when the alarm goes off.
