I would like to take the opportunity to express my disappointment in this product - the Pure Fi Anywhere 2 speakers. I have been having the same issue as other users on this board – music cutting out after 2-3 minutes. I have attempted all of the fixes – resetting, playing around with volume (which isn’t a “fix” so much as a hack, and should be presented as such). Some techniques work for a short period of time, others not at all. This is true of all iPhones and iPods I have tried on these speakers.
I am now on my third set of speakers, the previous two having the same issue. The electronics shop I purchased this from, a major distribution centre in Australasia, has told me that they have this issue often, and will seek to discontinue stocking it. But all they can do is keep offering me new units, and we’ve proven that to be a useless endeavour.
I don’t think that at this point it can be claimed that it is bad luck – particularly seeing the comments of the many users having the same issue. Long story short, Logitech has put out a faulty product.
I’m not seeking assistance at this point – I’ve disappeared down the rabbit-hole of Logitech’s customer service before, and come up with nothing but lost time and a pounding headache. Although the temptation to sell these speakers second hand is present just to minimise my losses, I don’t want to be shifting a bad product onto someone else.
Logitech has been a brand present in my life since I was a teenager – some time ago now, but unfortunately I won’t be continuing to enjoy their products.
Thanks for the opportunity to speak my mind. All the best for the future.
