Hi, I've had my white Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 for more than a year now, and recently it began to automatically turn up the volume when hooked up to an ipod or not.. From time to time it works again, but most of the time i can't use it because it's at the maximum volume. Also, i can't use all the buttons on top of the device. I don't know if it is of importance, but the + button sounds different than all the other once, like kind of dull. When press the - button the volume decrease but automatically increases again at release.

The remote control still works.

and yes I've tried pressing the reste button but it didn't help.

I can't return it to logitech anymore because, the warranty is done.
Please help me!!!!

I have the exact same problems with my model.  Did you have any luck getting it repaired?

well, it's working again.. but i don't know how i fixed it.. lol

i didn't use it for a while and when i tried it again a couple weeks later, oddly enough, it worked again just fine.

i wish i could give you more information but i really don't have any.

My guess is that the device was in a moist enviroment, and the moisture got under the buttons making the contact irresponsive. So after some time, the moisture just vaporized an the contact is working again.

If your ipods ok then problem will most likely be the micro switches under the buttons, use a knife to unfix the front panel then button cover unscrews, onlt trouble is you cant get a replacement part
