Problem with Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone 3G with OS 3.0

[ Edited ]

Hi

I've just upgraded my iPhone 3G to OS 3.0 and now my Pure-Fi Dream tells me it is incompatible with my device.  The Pure-Fi Dream will continue to charge the device but it wouldn't use my iPhone's music to wake me up this morning.

I have M/N S-00010.

Any advice on how this can be fixed will be much appreicated.

Kind regards

Duncan

Re: Problem with Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone 3G with OS 3.0

I am having the same exact problem with my Ipod touch 2nd Gen with the 3.0 firmware and the Pure-Fi Express plus.  Any idea if this issue will be fix?  I would hate to have to buy new speakers only three weeks after I purchased these.

Please Help!

How do I restart the devices? Cannot locate the sticky note on how to reset Pure-Fi Dream .. it sometimes works with my 3.0 iPhone and then if I take it off and out it back on, it tells me its not compatable. Help?

Re: Problem with Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone 3G with OS 3.0

Hold the ipod + the preset 2 button for 10 secs.

Both the Pure-Fi Dream and the iphone has been reset and I also updated to the lastest iphone firmware 3.0.1. STILL DOESNT WORK!!! I have entered a few electronic stores to test the iphone on the Pure-Fi Dream, it still doesnt recognise the phone. Have tried setting to Airplane Mode and still doesnt work.

The firmware on the Pure-Fi Dream is

FW 1.9.6

Flash v3.09 EUR

are there firmware release for the Pure-Fi Dream?

Re: Problem with Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone 3G with OS 3.0

Hi,

last week i bought the pure-fi dream. First time i docked my iphone 3G (OS 3.0) in the pure-fi all seemed to be ok.

Suddenly at 4am in the night my iphone told me that the device is incompatible with the hardware (i wake up without an alarm) :-(

The pure-fi didn't charge my iphone!

I've done a reset both on dream and iphone yesterday.

I docked the iphone in the evening and all seemed to be ok. No Popup was shown in the night (i switched the iphone in plane-mode before),

the iphone charged, but the configured alarm failed to play music from the iphone. The pure-fi alarm waked me up with radio FM...

are there new firmware releases for the Pure-Fi Dream?

Re: Problem with Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone 3G with OS 3.0

I'm having the same issue.  When I first put my iPhone 3G (os 3.0) into the docking station it worked fine.  I didn't get the airplane mode error message and the display on the Dream actually showed the song name/artist.  A day later I dock again and get the Airplane mode error msg.  If I hit "No" to turning airplane mode on I'm able to receive calls and play music but I don't get the song display.  I do however get a charge.

I've tried resetting the both devices multiple times to no avail.  If I can't resolve this I'll likely return it and purchase something that IS iPhone compatible (although I may think twice about Logitech until these things get resolved!)

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks
