HI There,

First of, let me say i LOVE my PURE FI ANYTIME,

BUT I am having a distorted sound problem also 

i have tried the "reset" procedure , but i still have the problem, 

The number on the bottom of my unit is EA843

Could you please advise what i am best to do , to get this rectified,

Hi,

First, it would be appreciated if much more detail was provided besides "having a distorted audio issue".

Are you using an iPod/iPhone? AM/FM radio? Aux connector? When it starts up? How long does the distortion last?

I appreciate the PID, but there may be several different things going on that all result in "distorted audio".

My only remedy at this time is to ask you to contact Technical Support and get a replacement.

I bought my son this logitech equipment for Xmas and he wrote to you about the distorted sound. We live in Argentina and it is warm here. I dont understand how to activate your reset solution, and also the other users say that idt does not work. The product was bought in the US, could you please tell us why the sound is distorted and where there is a reapir shop covering the warrnty that can fix the problem. We bought logitech thinking it was the best, two months later this distortion come up. How do we solfve it and what solution doews logitech have. Your mail says there is a solution but I click on it and dont get anything.

Mike to clarify your general questions, the distortion happens with all buttons of aux, radio am and fm and ipod. The code number is EA839 on the bottom of the quipment.

Please advise how we can get it fixed or replaced replaced in Argentina. I bought it thourgh amazon in the us and they told me today that i need to contact you for a solutuion, since the problem croppped up after 30 days of purchase.

Please provide complete description of how to reset since the solution stick pad does not work. Or tell us a place that they will fix it in Buenos Aires Argentina.

This problem happens no matter what function i use ( ipod, radio, etc ) 

IT apears when the unit is first turned on, after not being used for a period,,  and it will last for up to 10 - 15 mins, 

I hope this is now enough information

 The problem is on all the modes and it lasts from 15 mins and sometimes upto  45 mins before the problem fades slowly away to a normal sound again...

Hi Dan,

I have been discussing this issue with enginners here and what we think may be the issue is that it is related to the "cold start" problem.

It is most obvious whern the temp is around 50 F/12/C but the defect could show up at any temp on a few of the Pure-Fi Anytimes.

Please contact Technical Support and we will send you a replacement.

Here we go round the mulbury bush..... i rang up customer support and the gave me all the same bull about reseting the unit and after that they said that the will not replace the unit unless i can find the receipt which i have missplaced somewhere i don't know.  They also said they know nothing about any cold start problems with the unit so i guess the communication between the engineers and the customer support are very bad and also the customer support i think was very rude about it all when i told them i have already been through the reset proccedure three times already and still no change in the unit.   so i guess im stuck with a great door stop well for the time being anyway... so i might give case number to the media and see if they would like a storey to publish in the next newspaper about rude customer support at Logitech....well thats all i have to say about it at the moment i know its not your fault Mike.

Thanks for nothing Logitech ..... very dissapointed with customer support line well thats my feedback anyway.
