I'm having a problem using my iPhone 3G with the Pure-Fi Anywhere 2. It works fine when plugged in to AC power, and if I begin to play music while it's plugged in and then unplug it, it will continue to play. However, if I unplug the speaker before putting my iPhone on the cradle, it won't play at all. It does't seem to recognize my phone when running on battery power.
Also, the remote will only control the volume, none of the other functions will work, whether the speaker is plugged in or not.
My wife and son both have identical iPhone 3G's as mine, running the same IOS 4.2.1, but the speaker and remote work fine on their phones (AC and battery). This seems to indicate that the problem is with my phone. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? All settings seem to be the same on our phones, so I'm thinking it could be an issue with my phone's connector, in which case I'm probably out of luck.

Hello Mister_T,
If that's the case and you have tried different iPhone on the Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 to isolate the concern, that means there is a problem with your iPhone. Please contact apple and have your iPhone check.
