Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone

Is the unit GSM shielded or not?  I haven't yet purchased the Dream and I'm hesitant to do so until I can be sure.  I saw in an Amazon customer review that s/he need to use the iPhone in airplane mode to avoid interference with the Logitech unit.  I can't do that as I don't have a landline.  I've looked all over for an answer.... on CNET the review said that the unit was iPhone compatible but the video review corresponding to the printed one said otherwise!  Can anyone here give me a straight, well informed answer?

Re: Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone

Hey Jashue,

I have the Pure-fi Dream at home and will test it with my iPhone 3G when I get back there. I seem to remeber trying it when I first got it and there were no issues with buzzing besides a slight blip when the screen turned on and off, but I could be mistaken.

This is more a note to myself, but will try the following:

- 3G vs Edge

- Wi fi on//off

- With/without case

- Receiving call while playing

I'm here to post about another issue (when iPod or iPhone is plugged in, the radio reception is very poor, even if the iPod is not on), but that could be my particular unit.

I'll let you know how it goes (I've been meaning to test this out myself).

Re: Pure-Fi Dream and iPhone

I am using an iPod 80G with my Pure-Fi Dream I just got for Christmas and I am having the same problem with the radio reception when the iPod is docked.  Whether the iPod is on/off has no effect on the bad reception.
