iPod Docks

We just received this dock today and are unable to use the radio on our Ipod Nano 6th Generation.  The radio icon on the ipod disappears right after the ipod shows the message that there is no radio signal.  The headphones were plugged into the back of the unit as was suggested in a different posting.  Any suggestions? We would hate to have to go to the hassle of returning this item.

Please try a different ipod, iphone on the dock.

Please make sure that the ipod is properly plug in.

Please update the software on your ipod.
