iPod Docks

Hi.

My nephew had an S715i that he didn't use, so my sister gave it to me.

When I plug my iPhone 4 into the speakers it plays great, but as soon as I plug my girlfriends iPhone 4 into it a message appears on the iPhones screen saying "This accessory is not supported by iPhone".

Both of us have iOS 5.1.1 (9B206) on our iPhones.

Any ideas as to what may be wrong?

Hello LasseThid,

I understand that you are you are having issues with your Logitech Rechargeable S715i Speaker . As you mentioned you're iPhone 4 works with the speakers with no issue. Make sure that the other iPhone is  dock properly on the speaker and also if you are using rubber case or plastic case for your iPhone 4, remove the case and dock your iPhone 4. If still does not work, turn off your iPhone 4 then turn it back on. Dock your iPhone 4, lean backward for full support.

Hello I have the iphone 4S and i'm getting the same error message when i dock my iphone onto the S715i. I tried rebooting the phone and all and its still not working. I have the latest version IOS for my iphone 4S.  Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong ??

I have the same problem and am very disappointed.  Just got this dock for Christmas and it worked for 2 months, but now I get "this accessory is not supported by iphone" every time.  My girlfriends phone works fine.  It has nothing to do with a rubber case on the phone since I do not have such a case.  It just stopped working.  Please help us get this fixed, Logitech!

I have been dealing with this for weeks now. Contacted Logitech and they said it is an iOS 6.1 issue! Chatted with Apple iPhone support who recorded my call as a complaint/bug; recommended submitting feedback to Apple engineers; and so I wait for it to appear in iOS 6.1.3 or later. I have iPhone 4S w/iOS 6.1.1 and error message stating accessory is not supported by my device; whereasy wife's iPhone 4 works fine on the s751i
