iPod Docks

I just purchased the s715i, and i am curious if there are any tricks to get my phone to dock wjile it has the otterbox defender series cover on it. Just to level set, i DID remove the rubber port cover on the iphone. But it doesnt want to line up right and i hate to press too hard. My wife has a thinner cover and her phone docks right up. No go on the otterbox, at least on my first few atte,pts. It looks like i could possibly use a bent paperclip to pull the universal dock forward, then engage the phone and remove the paperclip, but that seems like a pain to have to do every time. Any ideas?

Hello TedMartin,

Try to remove the otterbox defender is that sometimes they will prevent a properly seated connection. Also make sure you are using the correct dock adapter as some may fit but not be the correct one for your device.
