Re: iPod Touch 1G OS3.0 and Pure-Fi Anywhere 2: Problem with volume controls.

Hello Everyone,

Apple has released OS 3.1 which I have been told fixes this issue, can you please try that.

Best regards,

Its nice to see Logitech admit that there is a problem with OS3.0, it took you long enough :smileyhappy:

I'll let others try this update first , incase it breaks something else..

Re: iPod Touch 1G OS3.0 and Pure-Fi Anywhere 2: Problem with volume controls.

just came over this thread, and I've got the exact same problems discribed here recently! Now I alredy updated to the very newest version 3.1.2 and it still doesn't work!! Is anybody @ logitech caring about this problem? think it would be their job to contact apple and fix this issue together!

anyway, tried the dock with my new iPhone 3GS and it works perfectly, but I'll nevertheless have to return the dock if it won't work with the touch 1G because I really need it to!

So much for the 3.1v update solving this one - still displaying the same problem for me too. Very frustrating!!

Re: iPod Touch 1G OS3.0 and Pure-Fi Anywhere 2: Problem with volume controls.

My 1g Touch warranty has expired so I took a gamble & tried downgrading to 2.2.1 following

the instructions at

http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=208429

and it works - the remote & volume controls are fully functional again :smileyhappy:

Hi,

The issue has been identified as a hardware difference in the European 1st Gen iPod Touch. Apparently the newer firmware causes an issue with the volume control reporting by the European iPod touch to the Pure-Fi Anywhere.
This has been reported to Apple.

Re: iPod Touch 1G OS3.0 and Pure-Fi Anywhere 2: Problem with volume controls.

Sorry. My english is basic and very bad... almost like my spanish :smileyhappy:. I've been given a S315i, the little brother of Pure-Fi, and I have the same problem with my iPod 1G and the volume key +.  Curiously, it works correctly the first two days, but you know the rest...Any little help here?.

Sorry again for my english. I hope you have understood me. Thanks also to the translator of Uncle Google:smileyvery-happy:

Hi,

I hope you meant your iPod Touch 1G. The issue is with the iPod Touch. It will be the same with any product that authenticates to the iPod Touch.

Re: iPod Touch 1G OS3.0 and Pure-Fi Anywhere 2: Problem with volume controls.

I have the same problem! IT CLEARLY SAYS ON THE BOX - COMPATABLE FOR IPOD TOUCH 1G!!

Which it clearly isnt!

I see only 3 options

1 - you fix them problem, now.

2- you give full refunds of the speakers, inc postage paid.

3- you or apple replace us with 2G iPods.

Re: iPod Touch 1G OS3.0 and Pure-Fi Anywhere 2: Problem with volume controls.

Hi,

today I bought a S315i speakers for my Ipod Touch 1G with 3.1.3 firmware. Same problem as reported here by other users.

THE BOX CLERLY STATES: "SUPPORTS IPHONE AND ALL IPOD MODELS WITH UNIVERSAL DOCK CONNECTOR"

LOGITECH MUST GIVE US ALL A SOLUTION FOR THIS!!!
