My son has a Fly pen which also uses Anoto technology. I used my pen on his paper once, which is available in local stores, to see what would happen. The pen vibrated with every stroke. Now every time I download I get an error reading:
Logitech io2 Software does not recognize the paper you are using.
Would you like to download a definition file for this paper?
Regardless of whether I click the Yes or No button on this dialog, I still get the dialog the next time.
I have removed and reinstalled the software on my computer, and have reset my pen, including pressing the reset button and holding pen to paper for 20 seconds. Any suggestions on how I can stop this dialog box?

Thanks, but that did not work. I have tried clearing the pen's memory several times. I just tried again to double check and I still get the dialog box.

Hard Reset Pen and Check May be it will solve your problem.
OR
Keep Silent Download Option Under IO Pen Setting and check.

You have to uninstall the Logitech software, plus remove every reference to the software in the Windows registry manually, or using a registry cleaning application. Or, download the free Windows Installer Cleanup utility, and use that to uninstall the software, instead of Add/Remove programs. Follow the instructions in the Microsoft Readme file explicitly.
A corrupted registry key is causing this. I had a similar problem with an old io1 pen.
