I have an Io2 pen. I want to:
1- buy a stack of "smart" paper (not a notebook).
2- Print a grid on it. I travel on a motorcycle and want to keep a journal and gas records.
I don't care that the grid won't transfer into the PC. I'm happy with just capturing the pen strokes.
3- I don't need enough sheets to "partner" with some company I just want to do it.
Here is the problem -- I can't find any place to buy paper except the A4 &A5 notebooke from Logitech.
Where is the store? has anyone done anything like this?

As far as I know, you can't buy the paper... but why not buy a bunch of notebooks, tear out the paper, cut it to size with a paper cutter, and use a photocopier to print a grid onto all of it? Shouldn't be too difficult...

Those notebooks on the Logitech site, they are not spiral bound, but they have a wire binding that can be opened. Whenever I need loose pages, I just pull the binding apart slightly and remove them. If I don't want to remove all of the paper, I just squeeze it back shut (needle-nose pliers, while not necessary, will do a neater job of re-crimping the wire. But, fingers work fine.)
I use a Franklin Classic Planner binder, and the loose A5 size paper fits right in there when I use my Franklin 7-hole punch. Either size can be 3-hole punched for use in a Letter size/A4, Half-letter size/A5 standard binder.
For certain ones of you STATESIDE (you know who you are), this method is a fine example of West Virginia Engineering, and you know I can write a book on that subject. And I just might.
Then, you can print on them, hole punch them, whatever. I use the loose paper mostly to make calendar grids, I prefer this to buying the planner calendar pages. There is just not enough scribbling room on those Franklin pages.
Not an elegant solution, but quite simple.
Hope this helps,
Dixon

You may want to check out the paper and ink products at www.adapx.com. Their products apparently are made for field work. They use ink cartridges from Fisher, which write in all sorts of conditions, and apparently their notebooks are made for outdoor use. Be aware, I haven't confirmed that the ink cartridges are exactly the same as for the io2 pen, but they look like it. I may pick some up just to check them out, and will let you know what I find out.
