I have the exact same problem. The install hangs on "rolling back action." I kill the installer and then launch the software, but it hangs on the splash screen. I called tech support and they said that the pen was not compatible with Vista and that the pen division got sold to Destiny Wireless, so updates/patches are unlikely. Does anyone have a solution?

I have the same problem whith my IO, please any can helpus???

I got a response from Logitech support (finally).

I was told Vista is not supported and the IO2 Pen will NOT WORK with Vista.

I spoke to the people at Destiny and they sent me this response. It seems that to work properly you need .Net Framework 1.1 and the service pack. My pen (a Nokia) now works.

Follow these steps:

IO Software and Vista Compatibility

For compatibility of the IO software and Windows Vista two windows framework packs must be installed;

1). Install .Net Framework 1.1 and then

2). the .Net 1.1 Service Pack

Once installed re-start computer and install the IO software as usual.

Both are available from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads or just put them into Google Search Engine.
