Dear Logitech, I'm sure your aware that the XP software for the io2 Pen does not work in Vista. Are you guys ever going to come out with Vista software so I can continue to use my pen or should I throw it away, or.............did you know you know have competition for a digital pen by FlyWorld.com and their Fly fusion pen? Their is available and compatable with Vista.

I love logitech equipment and have been loyal for all my periferals (pen, mouse, keyboard, camera's) for years, so I hope some Vista software is coming out really soon for the io2 Pen, I need a pen and may have to jump ship, please comeback with a  good answer.....................

I couldn't agree more. I'm not pleased that my pen no longer works. I appreciate the referral to the competitor...

The following worked for me:

- make sure .NET 1.1 and SP1 are installed on your computer - if not download both from microsoft.com and install.  You can verify that they are installed by looking at Programs in the Vista Control Panel

- download the latest driver from the Logitech website (not from the estiny website, the compny that bought the io2 pen from Logitech) and save it to your hard drive (running straight from Logitech website failed for me - don't know why)

- connect your cradle and put pen in it

- run the installation file

- start application
