Logitech io2 and Word 2007

I like to have my notes appear as images within word and ever since I upgraded to Word 2007, this doesn't work.

Here's what happens:  I write a "note" and when I dock my pen, word comes up as usual but instead of the picture inserted into the word document (that I usually cut and paste directly into my calendar event) nothing shows up.  Anyone else having this problem?

FYI, I know that I can have the software convert the note directly to a .jpg file but I prefer word because the cut and paste operation into a calendar entry adds the image as an embedded object rather than an attached jpg.  The attached jpg is less convenient because I have to open it up rather than seeing the notes directly from the calendar entry.....if anyone cares to know....

Also, I am running version 4.1.852.1 on Windows XP w/ Office 2007.

Thanks

Re: Logitech io2 and Word 2007

1-Open blank Word 2007 document, or document in which to insert image.
2-Have the .pen document open in the io2 software.
3-In the io2 software window, click the Edit menu, then click Copy.
4-In word, click Edit, then click Paste, or Paste Special if you wish to manipulate formatting.
5-Done. Hope this helps.

Re: Logitech io2 and Word 2007

FYI, I solved this by doing the following:

  1. Created a new io tag that is set to open to Word (I used 'N')
  2. Under "Software Options" > "Export Rules" tab > "Advanced" button I removed the check from "When possible, send text rather than images"

This worked for me although I'm not certain what affect the second option will have if you use text conversion in other places.
